DRINKWATER, Marvin C. "Mike" (Age 65)
Passed away February 4, 2010 at home. Mike was born in Medford, Oregon on September 1, 1944 to Reggy and Irene Drinkwater. He graduated from Medford High School in 1962 and then joined the United States Air Force where he served in the Philippines during the Vietnam Conflict. After being discharged, Mike attended college at Southern Oregon College and Eastern Washington University. Mike was a talented musician. He started playing at the age of nine and played professionally for many years, most recently with the Big Bucks Band. Mike enjoyed fishing as well as riding his motorcycle when weather permitted. Mike is survived by his loving companion of twenty-two years, Dawn Na?ve; daughter Stefanie "Stevie" Gmeiner, grandson Corey, granddaughter Kortenie; brother Larry Gants; sister Peggy Brown; and several nieces and nephews including Shawn and Colin Gants and Damon Brown. He was preceded in death by his parents Reggy and Irene and his sister Colleen. Mike was a force to be reckoned with and will be loved and missed more that words can express. "We love you Daddy."
